Research Day 2017: Insight to Impact - Achieving Health System Change

You are invited to attend and take part in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation’s annual Research Day on Wednesday May 3, 2017

This year’s theme explores how we can move beyond the results of our research, put these findings into practice, and bring about lasting and impactful change within the health system.

Our panel discussion moderated by Prof. Mark Dobrow will feature:

Dr. Melanie Barwick
Dr. Sacha Bhatia
Dr. Karim Keshavjee
Karen Michell
Dr. Karen Tu

We also invite you to join us for the keynote address featuring Dr. Werner Brouwer. Dr. Brouwer is a professor of health economics at the Institute of Health Policy and Management at the University of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. His research interests are focused on the methodologies of economic evaluation, including outcomes of economic evaluations on health policy, as well as other issues pertaining to health economics such as affordability of medications in low and middle income countries.

Whether you are a current, incoming or prospective student, Research Day is the perfect opportunity for you to network with your peers, engage in impactful research and see the wealth of knowledge that IHPME has to offer.
