How Children Learn to Tell Lies: Some Answers and Many Challenges

Dr. Kang Lee presents experimental evidence regarding the development of lying in children from two-years-of-age through adolescence. Showcasing some of the key social-cognitive-neural factors that contribute to the development of lying. He will also discuss cutting edge lie-detection methods using biological measures and the associated challenges. These advances may offer a collaborative opportunity between mathematicians, psychologists and bioengineers.
